Rushmore American School is proud to announce the appointment of Emma Baker as the Founding Principal. With 15 years of distinguished experience in education across the UK and UAE, Emma brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and a passion for academic excellence.
Recognized as Essex (UK) Secondary Headteacher of the Year in 2017 and a finalist in 2019, Emma has successfully led schools to outstanding academic results. However, her true passion lies in fostering environments where students thrive and in building strong, inclusive school communities.

As Founding Principal, Emma will play a pivotal role in realizing the school's vision of providing a high-quality 21st-century learning experience, equipping Sharjah’s next generation of inventors, creators, scientists, engineers, and scholars. She is dedicated to nurturing reflective, creative, and independent individuals with strong moral values while ensuring a strong national identity, appreciation for UAE history and values, and a focus on Arabic language, Islamic education, and local traditions.
