Admissions FAQs

Currently we request that you register your interest in Rushmore American School by submitting an online application.  Once this step has been completed you will be contacted by the Admissions Team.

Rushmore American School mandates parents to fulfil MoE and SPEA standards in their registration process. Required documents encompass passport copies, UAE residency visas, Emirates ID cards, attested birth and transfer certificates, KG2 and above report cards and immunization records. For inter-emirate transfers, a transfer certificate or alternative documentation from the prior school will be required. Click here for a list of required documents.

An assessment fee of AED 500.00 per student is required. This fee is refundable if a place is not offered, non-refundable if accepted but declined, and not deductible from total tuition fees if a place is accepted. An adjustable registration fee of AED 2000.00 (adjusted against term 1 fees) is required to a secure place for new enrollments with the fees being non-refundable. 

For Kindergarten entry at Rushmore American School, students must be 3 years old by 31st December 2026 for Pre KG, 4 years old by 31st December 2026 for KG1 and 5 years old for KG2 by 31st December 2026

Yes, Rushmore American School conducts assessments as part of the admission process. While Pre-KG, KG1, and KG2 admission involves observation and checklists. Grades 1 & 2 includes an interview and a school readiness assessment. Grades 3-12 assessments vary, incorporating CAT 4 assessments, dialogues and practical assessments with consideration for students with English as an additional language.
