Outdoor Learning Spaces
Outdoor learning spaces at Rushmore American International School will provide students with an opportunity to learn outside of the traditional classroom environment. Here are some key features of the outdoor learning spaces we will create:
Adequate Space
Outdoor learning spaces will have enough space to accommodate students and teachers. This will include having space for seating, tables, and equipment, as well as enough room for movement and activities.
Shelter and Shade
Outdoor learning spaces will be designed to provide shelter and shade from the sun and weather conditions. This will include fixed shading as well as use features such as pergolas, umbrellas, or, where possible, some tree cover.
