Overview
Rushmore American School provides additional curricular activities meeting a wide range of students’ needs and interests to help them develop as healthy, confident, creative, socially adept and culturally aware individuals.
Extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are an integral part of developing the student’s enrichment profile. The Rushmore American School program offers a range of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities with internal and external partners to make sure that the students get enough opportunities to learn and develop their interests and talents. By holding after-school clubs we are ensuring children have access to both the core curriculum and wider enriching activities.
We will have in place a variety of co-curricular activities that take place outside of school or after regular school hours. Co-curricular activities include school council, school sports teams, math clubs, science clubs, chess clubs, talent shows, spelling bees, writing competitions, debates, school newspapers, drama productions, musical performances, and art shows.
All extra-curricular activities consider religious, cultural and social norms of the United Arab Emirates and the morals, customs and traditions of UAE society, and abide by regulatory requirements.
