Pre-K
Pre-K We will have the appropriate number of classrooms and indoor and outdoor learning areas in this section of the school. We will also cater for the needs of younger students with appropriate toilet and changing rooms, a sleeping area and kitchen and storage facilities.
The Pre-K learning environment will be designed to support the developmental needs and interests of our youngest students. Characteristics of our high-quality pre-k learning environment will include:
- Safe and secure physical space that is clean, well-maintained, and child friendly.
- A visually appealing interior that includes appropriately sized furniture, toys, and equipment.
- A variety of age-appropriate materials and resources, such as books, puzzles, games, and manipulatives, to support hands- on learning.
- Opportunities for creative expression, such as art materials and open-ended activities.
- Access to natural light and shaded outdoor play areas, allowing children to explore and engage with nature.
- A clean and organized physical environment that promotes a sense of order and reduces distractions.
